Ok so, don't know where to start here. The pros? : OK food. The cons?

Horrible HORRIBLE STAFF! Some are mentally unstable, the others? I have no clue what their issue is, maybe they just hate life and everyone in it. They will bully you, threaten you, yell at you and swear at you. They will get in your face and yell at you and treat you like a child. They will NOT under any circumstances replace these awful people!!! They fight among themselves as well. The "pastor" of this place is making a good 200k a year, only comes in a few days a week, out of that maybe a few hours wearing expensive clothing driving her 70k BMW...must be nice. I couldn't make money poisoning people and treating them like animals like this woman; maybe because I have empathy and morals.The only nice people there are the two men at the front for check in, they are so nice and patient!!!! I only stayed on the women's side, so I can only say what I saw there. BED BUGS: Ok so they are in everything and EVERYWHERE. This place washes their towels and all laundry on cold, which is really disgusting seeing as that doesn't kill anything and these are SHARED towels and clothing.

BLACK MOLD: Yes, its deadly. I women's baby DIED from black mold from this place. The other had an 8 month old hospitalized several times because he would stop breathing when he slept because of black mold. I am SEVERELY allergic as most people are to black mold, I had a pneumonia and chronic bronchitis from this place. Everyone is coughing all night and sick there. The mold you can see everywhere. In the rooms, in the showers, the ceiling which has those office type tiles of cardboard, some are COMPLETELY BLACK from the mold.

DIRTY DIRTY!!!! The beds, the showers, toilets, everything is just disgusting. Women and staff walk around barefoot on these gross floors and 30+ year old carpet. They force you to shower every night, which is ok, except you get 10 minutes or less and I feel more disgusting after being in their bathroom than if I never showered at all. They use old mop water that is black to "clean" the floors and nothing is done about the black mold that's on the shower curtains.

You have forced "bible study" which I always heard from the men that was actually true. Luckily for the women "bible study" was watching a movie on TV or having people come in to talk to us about different subjects. Nurses, ER staff, that kind of thing. The men have actual bible study every night.

They have been doing construction for a "new" women's shelter, which of course was supposed to be finished over a year ago. They get the men that are staying there to do the work so, negligence all around. A hammer flew off the 2 story roof that someone laid down on a tarp because it was windy up there. Well with a gust of wind that got under the tarp it flew that hammer right off and landed right on the top of a woman's head. Blood EVERYWHERE. I hope she sued the ever living crap out of this place, she said she would.

The majority of the homeless population chooses to stay outside because they all know how this place is. They know about the fights, how disgusting it is, the way the staff treat you and the 5pm curfew. You are NOT allowed outside after 5:30 or they will ban you from staying there for 20 days. If after 20 days you leave again, banned for 3 months. They will kick you out at 6:30 am. There is nowhere to keep your stuff except for a tiny locker in their office, this includes your meds or anything like gum or clothing. You are not allowed to get anything from the locker at night and they hand out dirty broken tiny baskets for you to put all of your things in to be "inspected." If it doesn't fit in the locker, well you're screwed and have to leave it outside and no, you can't check on it because if you open the doors an alarm will go off and they will kick you out on the spot. Just another example of a couple people that can make a ton of money of off the "word of God" and under the guise of "helping the poor." These people have NO IDEA what Christians are.
